How do I feature my profile on job ads?

Displaying your recruiter profile on your SEEK/ JobsDB/ JobStreet job ads can set you apart from other advertisers...

Written by Esi Nkrumah

Your recruiter profile can appear on your job ads in two places:

  • In the search results — for branded job ads

  • Within the job ad itself — for all ad types

Displaying your live profile helps increase candidate click-through rates and application numbers by:

  • Greater trust in the legitimacy of the advert and the recruiter

  • Candidates contacting recruiters for more information rather than abandoning their application

  • Clients contacting recruiters to support new hires

Here's an example of what it will look like in the search results:

Note: You will need to add a profile picture in order for it to display in the search results

Displaying your profile

Our matching logic can sometimes identify your profile when the same phone number or email is used. However, to ensure the correct recruiter profile is always displayed, we recommend adding your unique SCR code at the bottom of your job ad description.

💡 Top Tip: Update your job templates saved in your ATS under your personal account. This way, whenever you post a job, your recruiter profile will be shown automatically.

How to get your Unique Code

Half way down your home page, there is a blue banner with your individual unique recruiter code. Simply type this in the body of your job advert and the banner will appear at the bottom of your advert.

The code will consist of "#SCR-" + "your unique slug" at the end of your public profile URL.

For example if your profile url is: https://www.seek.com.au/recruiters/people/terra-branford
The code will look like this:

#SCR-terra-branford

See below video on how to retrieve your SCR code

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I get access to this feature?

As long as you have a SEEK Recruiter Profile, you will be able to access the feature and display the Lite version of the widget. Our system should be able to automatically match your profile with your active SEEK ads and display your name and profile photo. If our system is unable to auto-match, you can manually add your SCR code to your ads to trigger the widget.

2. What is the difference between the complete widget and the lite widget?

Any recruiter with a SEEK Recruiter Profile can access the lite widget, which displays as a static image on your SEEK ads. To unlock the complete widget, you will need at least 1 verified review. The complete widget includes review signals and a contact pathway, making it the more complete profile experience.

3. I want to get the codes for all recruiters in our agency, how do I do that?

Contact our Support Team and we can provide you with a list for your agency.

4. Someone else in my team didn't receive a code, how do they get one?

Everyone with an active profile has access to the SCR code on the "Home" tab. Feel free to reach out to Support Team if you can't find one.

5.Why isn't my profile picture appearing on job search results?

Profile pictures only display on branded ads. To have your profile picture show up, you need to have uploaded a profile picture to your account.

6. The wrong recruiter profile is visible on my SEEK/ Jobsdb/ Jobstreet job – what should I do?

As previously mentioned, our profile-matching logic is quite sophisticated. We use multiple factors to determine which recruiter’s profile should appear alongside each job ad. However, in rare cases, the incorrect profile may display.

To ensure the correct profile is shown, you can add your unique SCR code to the job ad. This will override the automatic match and trigger the correct profile. Once added, please allow up to 24 hours for the change to reflect on SEEK.

If you’re unsure where to find your SCR code or need help applying it, feel free to contact our Support team at [email protected].
